An Overview of the Implementation Process

To facilitate long-term change, we offer coaching, training, and support for a full year. Our Tier 3 Behavior Support Implementation program provides a proven, step-by-step process that creates an effective system for intensive social-emotional and behavioral interventions that supports struggling learners.

Planning & Consensus

Spring

District leadership will work with an expert Emergent Tree coach to create a custom implementation plan utilizing our proven framework.

Early conversations focus on the purpose & components of our framework for Tier 3 interventions, identifying barriers and enablers, and clarifying roles.

Introductory Training

Summer

Campus teams meet to learn the Tier 3 Framework, including the daily intervention routines and social skills curriculum.

Campus teams will create operating procedures for intensive social-emotional and behavior intervention supports and learn how to use our Progress Monitoring Software.

Personalized Coaching Support

Fall

An Emergent Tree coach provides ongoing support. Teams assess progress using the Emergent Tree Tier 3 Quality Indicators during each coaching session.

Coaching sessions aim to build capacity on campuses by addressing barriers and collaboratively setting action items to further implementation.

Follow-Up Training & Support

Winter

A mid-year training session focuses on helping behavior teachers plan lessons that target replacement behaviors using the Emergent Tree social skills curriculum.

For district-wide implementation, this training can be offered in a way that allows for collaboration across campuses.

Yearly Program Review

Spring

Emergent Tree conducts a comprehensive evaluation of implementation across the components of our Tier 3 framework.

You'll receive reports of implementation levels, highlights of strengths, and suggested actions for campus improvement planning that will carry over into the next school year.

Progress Monitoring Software Access

Access to our behavior progress monitoring software to help you track student progress toward intervention goals and ensure you're addressing behavior and social-emotional learning needs with Tier 3 learners. We'll even partner with your district technology department to streamline the process.
